OUR GOAL TO SERVE
THE IXONIA LIONS CLUB
The Ixonia Lions Club held an organizational meeting on March 15, 1976.
On June 13, 1976 the Club was chartered by Lions Club International with
26 members. As of September 1, 2008 the Club has 50 members of which
7 are original charter members and 9 are women. You do not have to be a resident of Ixonia
to join. Members also include residents from Watertown, Oconomowoc,
Summit, Dousman and Concord.
Our Club is one of 45,000 service orientated Lions Clubs throughout the
world with 1.3 million members.
The Lionistic Year runs from July 1 through June 30.
Monthly dinner meeting are held the first Monday of each month at the
Ixonia Fireman's Hall, N8345 Park Street, Ixonia at 7 P.M.
The Club regularly holds activities and fund raising projects. 100% of all
monies raised from activities that are public supported are donated to
Community, State or World Projects.
